Bobby McFerrin- makes the audience sing pentatonic scale

Remember Bobby Mc Ferrin? Well, if you don’t- Don’t worry, be happy.

He does not do big concerts anymore (as far as I know) but this one is a great reminder of how good an artist he is.

The first of its kind performance I have seen. Most artists make the audience sing with them- but that is usually in the form of a simple chant or a previously made famous hook line.

But Bobby McFerrin, in this clip- makes the audience intuitively pick up notes with his gestures- and hum a tune along with him.

Of course this is not a music show, but things like this separate the men from the boys- and yes- once a performer- always a performer.
